Well, hey there!
As I mentioned, my name is Carmel and I love to help couples live out the weddings of their dreams!In a world full of wedding photographers, I appreciate you stopping by my little corner of the internet and for even wanting to know a little more about the gal behind the camera! So let me fill you in.
I've been photographing weddings for over 10 years now on and off, after landing my first ever job as a second shooter for a photographer in the Midlands (yarp, I am actually English - but I love and live in Wales). Back then, weddings were pretty uptight and boring - totally not by bag! But after moving to Newport, South Wales to study photography I was fortunate enough to fall in with a good crowd...or the wrong crowd depending on how you view tattoos and loud music!

When some of these lovely people started getting married, I had the honour of photographing the weddings and soon realised that weddings can be however you want to make them!Fast forward to 2018 when it was my turn to be a bride to my wonderful husband Killian (he was one of the ones playing the loud music). I just knew that the wedding life was for me and so 'Carmel T. McCabe photography was born!
I now reside just outside of Newport with my wonderful husband, our toddler and fur children - Bruce the loaf of bread (pug) and Pablo PiCATso. Where we like to eat lots of food, laugh and still listen to a lot of loud music! Life is sweet!
